Anyways, here we go  !

Materials

Materials

  • White clay

You can see that I added some darker blue to that blue and littttle bit of  dark grey to that red. Just to make them darker .

Basic shape

  • Take the white, and manipulate it until you have an approximate shape of the controller
  • Then at the top, cut a little chuck out
  • Smooth out the edges and push it down a little

Completed

  • Add the button details
  • and place a strip of grey on the bottom
  • Bake and you’re done :D

I’m thinking of plushies since I haven’t made them for so long….

Tutorial : Gaming series (Nintendo 64 controller)

Hello,,

This is the other part of the tutorial. They are short, so two will be uploaded at one time :D

Here is the Nintendo 64 controller !

—-

Materials

Materials

  • Three shades of grey (Light grey, grey, dark grey)
  • Blue clay
  • Red
  • yellow clay

Basic shape

  • Split the clay into three : One larger one and two smaller ones.
  • Take the main shade of grey, and just like the Gamecube controller, roll out the main shape.
  • To make it a little less round, just use something with a straight edge and push the clay inward.
  • Take a bit of clay and roll it out into a log. The length should be the same as your controller.
  • Place it on top and flatten.

Completed shape

  • For that middle part, roll out the last piece of grey into a sabre tooth shape.
  • Place it in the middle of the controller
  • Flatten the top half, and CAREFULLY blend the edges down. Make sure when you place it , it has that little bit sticking out the top.

Completed

  • Taking a rounded tool, make an indent where the arrow pad will go.
  • Roll out the darkest grey thinly and cut out the arrow pad.
  • Place it in the dent you made.
  • Stick on the rest of the details

Bake + glaze

And you’re done ! Another easy one right ?

Tutorial : Piglet donut (rement)

Hello my reader ^^

Another donut rement for you today , this time, it’s Piglet ^^
And as usual, super simple and quick.

So lets get started  !

—-

Materials:

Materials

  • Pink clay
  • Light pink (Studio Sculpey : Blush)
  • Brown pastel
  • Pink pastel
  • White pastel (optional, this is for lightening your pink icing)
  • TLS
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Toothbrush

Shape

  • Roll the light pink into a log + Make into donut shape
  • I used the end of a paintbrush to make the hole in the middle more defined.
  • Blend edges
  • Texture with toothbrush (if you want)

Icing

  • Take the darker pink, and make them into the shape of Piglets’ ears.( Light bulbs ?)
  • Mix TLS with pink. I think this pink is a little too dark, so if you want, add white into it. ( I forgot .. )
  • Add onto the bottom half of the donut

Details

  • Mix brown pastel with TLS
  • Take a blob on your tool (mine is needle tool), and before it drips, just drag it across your pink icing.
  • Add sprinkles if you wish.
  • Bake + Glaze

Completed Piglet donut

——-

And there we go ^^
You can see how my icing was too dark right ? At the time, I didn’t think of adding white to make it lighter… ah…
But that’s okay,, it still looks alright.

Tutorial : Mameshiba Charm

Hey guys !

This was a request, so I’ll quickly post this up ^^
I made a Mameshiba Keychain  for my friend in Korea, and someone wanted to know how I made it. It’s super simple, and will probably only take you 5 minutes to make + 15 min Baking time,
Also, you can use whatever colours you want, I just used some leftover clay for this.

Here we go ! (And sorry for the blurry-ish pictures )

——

Materials:

Materials

  • Colour of your choice
  • Second colour of your choice will be the ears. You don’t need a lot of this.
  • Either a sharpie ( or another fine pointed marker) OR
  • Black acrylic paint
  • White acrylic paint

The main shape

  • The main body is like a bean shape. So use a reference image, and manipulate your clay until you like the shape.
  • For the ears, take two small blobs, roll it into the shape of a grain of rice
  • Flatten
  • This is optional, but I made it into a leaf . Just use your razor blade

Completed

  • Place the ears on the main body
  • Bake
  • Take your sharpie/acrylic paint and draw on the face
  • I did it on a piece of paper so you could see better
  • Then finally, use white acrylic paint to add that shine. A toothpick will work fine. ( I couldn’t find my white paint)
  • Glaze to make sure the face doesn’t rub off.
Mameshiba Keychain
—–

As for the construction of the keychain, place an eyepin into the top of the clay before you bake it. If you are making several, make sure you place an eyepin at the top and the bottom. Then connect them together using jumprings. The strap part of the keychain was purchased off Ebay for about 2.50 USD ? I think I got about 100 of them, and it was free shipping !

So there we go ^^ I hope this helped !

Thanks for reading !!

Tutorial : Mickey mouse cream puff

Hey guys !

Another Mickey mouse themed tutorial today !
If you read my first tutorial that is the mickey mouse donut, you’ll know that I got these ideas from Strapya world.

Strapya Mickey mouse cream puff charm

Let’s get started !

Materials

Materials

  • Butterscotch clay (yellow-ish clay)
  • White clay
  • Some type of “whipped cream” (clay, deco, or some kind of white sealant)
  • Brown pastel
  • Liquid sculpey ( sculpey is best because fimo deco will give a transparent-ish finish- which is not what I want)
As you can see, I mixed the butterscotch colour with white to make it lighter. This is the bun of the cream puff.
Making the shape
  • Make one ball + 2 smaller ones for the ears.
  • Split the larger one into two
  • Make one half (of the larger ball) into a bun shape. Which is basically like a dome.
You’ll see that in the third image, I made the ears level with the dome shaped clay. You don’t actually want this. When I put the ‘cream’ into the clay, and sandwiched the two pieces together, I found that the ears were not big enough…. this is a really bad explanation, you’ll see what I mean in the end.
Making icing
  • You see the bun shape ? Also, notice how the other half is significantly thinner. We don’t want it to be the same thickness as the dome.
  • Mix the liquid sculpey with brown pastel
Adding icing
  • Add the icing onto the bun. Make sure when you add it, you give the ‘chocolate’ a ‘drizzled’ effect. The sculpey is thick enough to hold it’s shape, so don’t worry too much about it.
  • Bake.
  • You’ll see than the sculpey baked matte. This is what we want because it looks like real chocolate this way. Fimo deco gel is quite light in texture, and will not hold its shape. Also, it finishes quite transparent.
I actually just wanted to leave it like this…. it looked quite nice haha
Making and adding cream
  • Now is the time to add your ‘cream’
  • I am not using liquid clay + white clay. As you can see, it’s a type of tile filler. “Selley’s No more gaps”.
  • You only need a small amount. To make it thicker, and hold it’s shape, mix with some type of flour. I usually just use tapioca (which is like corn/potato starch)
  • Add onto the bottom half of the bun
Completed
  • Sandwich the top and bottom together and there!
  • As you can see, the ears are not actually touching the surface… this is what I meant when  I said to make the ears bigger. If you have a tiny piping tool, pipe the cream in. This way , it’ll have more detail.
Hope you like ! The next one is coming soon
